Dr. Schneider completed his psychiatric residency at the University of California, Irvine. He holds an M.S. in Sports Psychology and he is formally trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Schneider’s holistic approach to psychiatry, offering both psychotherapy and medication management, has proven to be highly effective with his patients.
Drew has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years and is dedicated to the service of helping others. He earned his undergraduate degree in philosophy at St. John's college, and earned his Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling at The American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. Additional to his therapy expertise, he possesses exceptional executive, organizational, and human resources skills.
David has broad professional experience having worked internationally for several years, previous to returning to California to utilize administrative and interpersonal skills in all aspects of program directing.
Jacklyn is a licensed vocational nurse, who assists with client medications, monitoring of vital signs, and monitoring of detoxification and withdrawal symptoms. She is also a client advocate for physician and insurance purposes. Additionally, she provides education, training, and administration.
Dr. Francisco is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, who is experienced in treating Dual Diagnosis issues, mood disorders - including depression and bipolar episodes; thought disturbances - including schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders; as well as behavioral disturbances that impair social functioning. Her expertise lies in providing an integrated treatment approach to not only addiction, but also co-occuring disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder and Eating Disorders.
Dr. Thielen holds both a Masters and a Doctorate degree in clinical psychology. She specializes in trauma recovery, substance abuse treatment, anxiety disorders, art/music therapy, and meditation and relaxation techniques. Dr. Thielen has worked with those suffering with addiction and trauma issues for over 15 years.
Ashlee graduated from the University of Arizona with fine arts degree. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Addiction Education from the University of Southern California. For over 8 years, Ashlee has worked in substance abuse rehabilitation centers specializing in addiction education and art therapy.
Gina has been a drug and alcohol addiction specialist since 2003. Her experience includes a 6-year term as Clinical Director at a highly rated rehabilitation facility, as well as several years experience treating dual diagnosis/co-occurring disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Claudio earned his Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University. He is a psychotherapist and counselor, who specializes in client and family therapy and education. Claudio’s bi-cultural background enhances his understanding of client diversity and context, which is a critical therapy component.
Rachel is a Registered Dietician and has extensive experience in nutrition therapy associated with eating disorders and weight management. She has worked in a variety of eating disorder treatment settings including inpatient, outpatient and residential. Rachel utilizes innovative approaches and paradoxical methods for the education and re-feeding of malnourished individuals. In addition, she lectures professionally in the community and serves as an adjunct professor at California State University, Long Beach. At CSLB, Rachel designed and implemented an original clinical trial study on the effectiveness of the dietician for weight loss management when medications are used. Her skills were recently highlighted in her appearance on the E! Network’s television series, What’s Eating You.
Karie has been a licensed therapeutic massage therapist for 15 years. She employs multiple massage modalities for individualized healing: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Shiatsu, Reiki, and Cranio-Sacral Release Therapy. Her practice is tailored to substance abuse and co-occuring conditions.
Edmund is Nationally Certified as a Diplomat in Acupuncture by the NCCAOM. He holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Science Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California. He has over 16 years of clinical experience and treats: detoxification symptoms; addiction issues; pain (physical or emotional); digestive issues; stress; anxiety; sleep problems, fatigue, and mind-body disconnection.
David is a non-denominational Pastor and Counselor. Additionally, and uniquely, he has extensive training in the Eastern Healing Arts. David has worked in the substance abuse treatment field for over 20 years, providing invaluable support, compassion, and insight into the spiritual aspect of treatment and sobriety.
